Northern Valley Earth Fair Coming Up In Cresskill
CRESSKILL, N.J. -- Think green with members of the Closter Environmental Commission at the Northern Valley Earth Fair on Saturday, April 23 at the Cresskill Community Center. This joint venture is a collaboration that includes Environmental Commissions, Green Teams and representatives from the towns of Closter, Cresskill, Norwood, Old Tappan and Tenafly. Each year it's held in a different town. It's open to everyone.

Jacqueline Ervelli, 92, Formerly Of North Arlington
NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. – Jacqueline Ervelli, formerly of North Arlington, died Tuesday, March 1. She was 92.
Born in Saco, Maine, she lived in North Arlington before moving to Florida 16 years ago. She worked as a sales associate for the Two Guys Department store in Kearny for 20 years, before retiring 40 years ago.
She is survived by her children, Michael Ervelli, of Rutherford, and Elaine Mercadante, of Florida; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Albert.
Eugene Cizynski, 90, Formerly Of Westport
WESTPORT, Conn. – Eugene Cizynski, formerly of Westport, died Monday, Feb.22. He was 90.
He attended Power Memorial High School in New York City, where he played basketball and baseball, winning the city championship as a pitcher. He was recruited by the New York Yankees, but joined the U.S. Marine Corps to serve in World War II. During the war, he was in the Squadron VMSB-244, flying in the Curtis Helldiver as a gunner/radioman.

NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. – Maryann Bogle, a resident of North Arlington, died Thursday, March 3. She was 80.
Born in Scotch Plains, she lived in Newark before moving to North Arlington 58 years ago.
She is survived by her husband, Robert P. James J. Rendine Sr., 93, Of Rochelle Park
ROCHELLE PARK, N.J. – James J. Rendine Sr., a resident of Rochelle Park, died Thursday, March 3. He was 93.
Prior to retiring, he worked in sales at Link Radio Company in New York. He also worked for Interstate and Holmes trucking companies in New Jersey. In addition, Rendine served his country during World War II in the U.S. Naval Seabees Battalion, and was a life member of the American Legion Post #170 of Rochelle Park. He also was a member of the Rochelle Park Zoning Board for 40 years and served as chairman for 10 years.

WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. – Robert F. DiSantis, a resident of Wappingers Falls, died Thursday, March 3. He was 81.He was employed at IBM for 30 years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1646 and served in the United States Army from 1954 to 1956.
He is survived by several cousins.
He was predeceased by an infant sister.

WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. – Raymond J. Kane, a resident of Wappingers Falls, died Wednesday, March 2. He was 90.
