POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Audrey J. Nelson, a resident of Poughkeepsie, died Tuesday, March 1. She was 87.
For 20 years, she was a secretary at Roberts-Boice Paper Co. in Poughkeepsie. She was also a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Poughkeepsie.

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Mary Nelson, a resident of Poughkeepsie, died Tuesday, March 1. She was 77.
She is survived by her children, Cynthia Brown, and her husband, Robbie; Mark Brown, and his wife, Benita; and Junior Brown; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
Neil Rennie, 81, Of Stamford
STAMFORD, Conn. – Neil Rennie, a resident of Stamford, died Monday, Feb.29. He was 81.
Rennie served in the United States Army during the Korean War. After his service, he worked for Gristedes Supermarket in Stamford for over 35 years.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Rennie; his children, Neil Rennie Jr.; and Patricia Pokorny; grandchildren, Lisa, Frankie Pokorny, Christopher Pokorny, Tyler Pokorny, Chase Rennie, Brooke Rennie and Cora Couch; brother Frank Rennie and sister Jacqueline.

NORWALK, Conn. – Lucille Deran Smith, a resident of Norwalk, died. She was 91.
Born in Stamford, she was raised in Darien, and after the birth of her children, she moved to Norwalk.
She attended Darien High School (class of 1943) and worked in her father’s photography business. She also helped raise money for charitable causes, including the Silvermine Guild of Artists. She also helped out in a friend’s fashion boutique and within a few years, she became one of the top-grossing personal shoppers for Saks Fifth Avenue.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Joseph Chiaia, a resident of Stamford, died Tuesday, March 1. He was 85.
Chiaia was born in Italy on Oct. 7, 1930, to parents Stefano and Josephine Chiaia.
He is survived by his wife Maud Simon Chiaia; his daughter Josie Fraioli and her husband Carlo; son-in-law Steward Sprosue; and granddaughters Lianna Melzer and her husband Danny; Celia Sprouse; and great grandchildren Rylee and Madison.

ROCHELLE PARK, N.J. – Charlotte Polek, a resident of Rochelle Park, died Tuesday, March 1. She was 72.
Before retiring, Polek worked as a secretary and was a member of Teamster local 560 in Union City.
She is survived by her fiancée, Herbie Ieradi, of Rochelle Park; daughter, Kim Galuhn-McCormick and her husband, Jeffrey, of Summerville, SC; grandchildren David Hogrefe and his wife, Elizabeth; and Diana McCormick.
