HAWTHORNE, N.J. – Ralph Robert Damiano, a resident of Hawthorne, died Tuesday, March 2. He was 78.
Damiano was an assembler/welder for Precision Screen Machines in Hawthorne.
He is survived by his wife Irene of Hawthorne; son Keith Damiano and wife, Patti, of Bloomingdale; daughter, Karen Rizzo, of Barnegat; grandchildren, Megan, Jessica, Keith Jr., Anthony, Dominick, and Deanna; sister, Judith Damiano.

PARAMUS, N.J. – Roy Frederick Bushman, a longtime resident of Paramus, died Saturday, Feb. 27. He was 94.
Bushman served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was the long time proprietor of Roy’s Sunoco in Ridgefield, where he often worked 12 hours a day, six days a week to better provide for his family. He was a parishioner of RC Church of the Annunciation in Paramus.

PARK RIDGE, N.J. – Robert James Rathgeb, a resident of Park Ridge, died Saturday, Feb.27. He was 94.
Before retiring, Rathgeb had been a sales executive for Bendix Corp. in Tereboro for 41 years. RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Steve Banom, a resident of Rutherford, died Monday, Feb. 29. He was 85.
Banom served with the Army during the Korean War. He was employed with Colgate-Palmolive in Jersey City in Research & Development before retiring in 1985 after 35 years. He was also a volunteer firefighter in the late 1950s and 60s for nine years with Engine 5.

NEW MILFORD, N.J. – Peter Rouzic Jr., a resident of New Milford, died Monday, Feb.29. He was 61.
He was a bus driver and traveled throughout the United States and Canada. As a teenager, he began operating CB radios, leading a lifelong passion with Ham Radios.

WOODLAND PARK, N.J. – John Baba Jr., M.D., a resident of Woodland Park, died Monday, Feb. 29. He was 79.
He was born in Passaic to John Baba Sr. and Sara (David).
Baba was the Head of Obstetrics at Saddle Brook Hospital for many years.
He is survived by his niece, Susan Baba.
He was predeceased by his parents and brother Robert Baba, M.D.
Anthony J. Russo, 90, Of Maywood
MAYWOOD, N.J. – Anthony J. Russo, a resident of Maywood, died Tuesday, March 1. He was 90.
He owned Andor Upholstery until he retired in 1990. He was also a Merchant Marine during World War II and was a member of the Maywood American Legion Auxiliary Unit 142.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Doris and brother of Frances Perini.
