RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J. – Maria E. Sanchez, a resident of Ridgefield Park, died Friday, March 4. She was 70.
She was formerly of Hackensack. Before retiring, she worked for Hackensack University Hospital in patient transportation.
She is survived by her husband, Mario; her children, Christina Rosario and her husband, Arnaldo, of Hackensack; and Marisela Molin and her husband, Roman, of Bergenfield; her grandchildren, Landon, Marcus and Xavier; her siblings, George Castellanos, Hector Castellanos, Belen Montalvo and Theresa Sokol.
She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Alfredo Castellanos.

PINE PLAINS, N.Y. – John Surico, a resident of Pine Plains, died Wednesday, March 2. He was 74.
Surico was a lifelong Dutchess County resident, most recently of Pine Plains. He served in the U.S. Army from 1959-62. He was a contractor for many years. Early in life, he ran the Fairview Block Co., his family’s business, for his father, Frank. HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. – Gaetana B. Licameli, a resident of Hasbrouck Heights, died Thursday, March 3. She was 88.
She was formerly of West New York. Before retiring, she was a secretary for the United Jersey Bank in Hackensack for 10 years. Previously, she worked at the Associated Gift Shoppe in Hasbrouck Heights for 11 years, the Ford Motor Co. in Jersey City and in Michigan, the Ford Foundation in New York City and Prudential Life Insurance Co. in Newark.

Ernest Parisi, 89, Of Garfield
GARFIELD, N.J. – Ernest Parisi, a lifelong resident of Garfield, died Thursday, March 3. He was 89.
Parisi served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and worked as a receiving clerk for over 10 years for the Great Eastern Textiles in Mahwah, before retiring. He was also a parishioner of Mount Virgin Church in Garfield.
He is survived by his brother, James Parisi and his wife, Frieda; and his uncle, James Parisi Jr.
He was predeceased by his parents, Angelo and Rose Parisi; and his nephew, Angelo Parisi.

Mary Lennon, 93, Of Pearl River
PEARL RIVER, N.Y. – Mary Lennon, a resident of Pearl River, died Thursday, March 3. She was 93.
Lennon was originally from Micknagh, Killoe, County Longford, Ireland. She spent 28 years in Parkchester in the Bronx before moving to Pearl River.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary and her husband, Marc Stern, of Lake Carmel; and Patricia and her husband, Patrick, of Pearl River; and her grandchildren, Donna, Katie and Kelly.
She was predeceased by her husband, Patrick.

NANUET, N.Y. – Irwin Eugene Librot, M.D., a resident of Nanuet, died Thursday, March 3. He was 80.
He was born on March 10, 1935 in the Bronx, NY and was a neurologist at Nyack Hospital.
Funeral services were handled by Hellman Memorial Chapels in Spring Valley. Interment was at Cedar Park Cemetery in Paramus.
