MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Angela Court, a resident of Mount Vernon, died Wednesday, April 27. She was 86.
Born on April 12, 1930, in Pittsburgh, Pa., to Vincent and Mary Pugliesi.
She is survived by her children Cathy Murphy (Dennis) and Charles Court (Nancy); three grandchildren Melissa, Stacey, Sean and a great grandson.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles, and a sister Marie Gentile.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 30, at St. Peter and Paul Church, at 10 a.m., Burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Frederick Arthur Hine Sr., 82, Of Fairfield
FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Frederick Arthur Hine Sr., a resident of Fairfield, died Wednesday, April 27. He was 82.He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1951-54 and was promoted to the rank of sergeant and fought during the Korean War. In 1952, he was wounded in action and was awarded the Purple Heart, as well as the United Nations Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.
After his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps, he faithfully began employment at Handy & Harman in Fairfield, as a welder of precious metals for the next 45 years, until his retirement.

Elliot Anderson Meister, 20, Of Rye
RYE, N.Y. – Elliot Anderson Meister, a resident of Rye, died Wednesday, April 27. He was 20.
He was born on Oct.31,1995, to David and Lotte Meister.
After graduating from Rye High School in 2014 as an Academic All- American, he went on to enter Vanderbilt University, College of Engineering.
He is survived by his parents; his sister, Holly; and grandparents Robert and Lennie Meister and Erik and Gerda Anderson.

Peace died March 22. She was 93.
She was born to Joseph Cross and Helen Wallace and grew up in Manhattan. She graduated from Cathedral High School.

Richard Allen Funk, 68, Of Hyde Park
HYDE PARK, N.J. -- Richard Allen Funk, a resident of Hyde Park, died Tuesday, April 26. He was 68.He was born Aug.10, 1948, the son of the late Lloyd and Dolores Funk.
He graduated from Franklin D. Roosevelt High School in 1966 and went on to study at Dutchess Community College. He was an IBM manager for 25 years. After leaving IBM, he worked with his brother at J&R Contracting for several years before retiring in 2009. He was a classic car enthusiast, taking home many trophies from local car shows for his '67 and '69 Barracudas.
