Woman Charged With DWI In Wappinger Had BAC Twice Legal Limit, Police Say WAPPINGER, N.Y. — A New Jersey woman was charged Friday night with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated after New York State Police stopped her for swerving out of her lane on Route 376, according to police. Shelby N. McGrath, 24, of Hewitt was pulled over on Feb. 12 by New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks. An investigation revealed she was intoxicated at the time of the stop, police said. A breath sample revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .19 percent, more than two times the legal limit of intoxication, police said. McGrath was released on summonses pending a March 1 court…

Passaic Seeks Spring Baseball Coaches, Managers And Players PASSAIC, N.J. — Baseball managers, coaches and players are needed for Little League in Passaic. The Passaic Roberto Clemente league is affiliated with Cal Ripken and MLB RBI. There is no fee for city residents. Coaches can bring in their own teams. The league is for children ages 10-12. The season begins April 2. Each team will have 15 players and there will be 4-6 teams in the league. Northern Valley Students Earn First Place In STEM Competition OLD TAPPAN, N.J. — The STEM Team at Northern Valley Regional High School at Old Tappan came in first place Feb. 10 at a meet at Fair Lawn High School. The announcement came from Dr. Bruce Sabatini, Principal at Northern Valley Regional High School at Old Tappan, and Mr. David Janosz, NVRHS District Supervisor of Technology. The STEM team, under the leadership of Steve Maietta, Technology Education teacher, was comprised of Basil Tweedy, Aiden Choi, Brent Cagen, and Steve Lee.
