Bergen County Zoo Camp Registration Now On PARAMUS, N.J. — The Bergen County Zoo is having a zoo camp for children this Summer. Zoo Camp is a week-long, half day, program for children ages 5 to 15 years old that runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is open only to Bergen County Residents or Bergen County Zoo Members. Children will spend time touring the zoo,meeting animals up-close in the classroom, and other animal-themed activities. Camp is one week long, with various sessions available throughout the summer. Paul Russell Lawrence Bodrato, 90, Of Closter CLOSTER, N.J. — Paul Russell Lawrence Bodrato of Closter died on Tuesday, Feb. 9. He was 90. Known to family, friends and in business as Russell or just Russ, he grew up in Northvale and Norwood and graduated from Closter High School Class of 1943. He served in the US Navy during World War II. After the Navy, he attended business school and joined his father’s business, All Brands Tire Exchange in Hackensack. Egypt Plans To Sue East Rutherford Over Variance EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The Egyptian government is suing the Borough of East Rutherford for denying it a use variance to house dignitaries at a $1.7 million Jersey Street property it purchased in 2014, reports northjersey.com. The Zoning Board of Adjustment said Egypt's plans for the building at 4 Jersey St. aren’t in line with the property's prior non-conforming use, according to northjersey.com. Elmwood Park Dinner Fundraiser Supports Project Graduation ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. — Have dinner at McDonald’s in Saddle Brook on Wednesday, Feb. 24 and help support Elmwood Park High School Project Graduation 2016. The dinner fundraiser is from 5 to 8 p.m. at McDonald’s, 189 Route 46, Saddle Brook. A portion of proceeds will benefit Elmwood Park's Project Graduation. Project Graduation is the annual after-graduation celebration for the newest graduates of Elmwood Park High School.
