Elmwood Park Schools Plan Parcc Presentation Night ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. — A presentation will be held at Elmwood Park High School Tuesday, Feb. 16 to help parents better understand PARCC scores. The Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers is the current state testing for students. Individual score reports from the test were previously sent home for parents and the Board of Education held a presentation on PARCC in January. NY Motorists Who Drive With Snow On Car May Soon Face Fines Lawmakers in New York are once again trying to push through legislation making it illegal to drive a snow-covered car on the road, according to multiple reports. Four bills lingering in the Senate and Assembly are now scheduled for vote, reports syracuse.com. If passed, drivers could be ticketed $150 for having 3 inches of snow or ice on their cars and $1,200 if a weather-covered car is involved in an accident, according to syracuse.com. Boosters are a way to a send congratulatory message to a child for all their hard work at St. Leo’s School and wish them success as they move on to the next adventure. Students in the 8th grade get a free yearbook but booster ads are not included. The booster ads are necessary to make the yearbook bigger and better.
