Lodi Fire Department Welcomes New Truck LODI, N.J. -- A wetdown in Lodi is being planned by the fire department to welcome a new truck on June 11.Lodi Fire Department Hose Company No. 2 will welcome a 2016 Spartan Gladiator. It replaces a 1990 Seagrave after 25 years of service in the department.  The departing truck has a 1500 GPM waterous pump and a 1000 gallon water tank.  This engine carries 1500 feet of 5 hose, 500 feet of 3 hose, 400 feet of 1 3/4 hose. Rutherford Library Organizes Drop-In Storytime RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- A drop-in storytime program is being organized at the Rutherford Library starting Wednesday and Thursday.There will be morning and afternoon sessions to accommodate infants to age 5.  Wednesday, March 9 is 10:30-11 a.m. and 2 - 2:30 p.m. The Wednesday afternoon session is geared specifically to children up to the age of 24 months, but all preschool children are welcome. Englewood's Tryon Pool Open 7 Days A Week ENGLEWOOD N.J. -- The Tryon Pool in Englewood will open 7 days a week, a schedule the town began last August following residents' complaints, reports northjersey.com.City Manager Timothy Dacey said budget cuts and low attendance had led to the initial reduction in 2015 pool hours, reports northjersey.com.
