Wanaque Tricky Tray Has Free School Parking Among Prizes
WANAQUE, N.J. -- Tickets for the Wanaque PTA Tricky Tray fundraiser are on sale for the April 2 event at Lakeland Regional High School.Tickets for 50/50 raffles were recently mailed home to residents with students. Also included in the envelope where advanced raffle tickets for two parking spaces at school. Residents don't need to be present to win the parking spots, which are good for the 2016-17 school year. Bergen County Program Seeks Women Volunteers To Mentor Struggling Moms
HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Adult women are needed as mentors for mothers living in Bergen County.Mentoring Moms, a program of the Volunteer Center of Bergen County, trains volunteer mentors to work with mothers who are overwhelmed by the responsibilities of children and life and who are also faced with immense personal challenges. Tickets On Sale For Old Tappan PTO 'Sip And Savor' Event In Rockleigh
OLD TAPPAN, N.J. -- Tickets are available for a wine and whiskey event May 5 at the Rockleigh Country Club. Proceeds benefit the Old Tappan PTO projects, including a state of the art media center. There will be food, drink and music, whiskey and wine tastings, cigar rolling, Tricky Tray, auction, and 50/50. Woman Pleads Guilty In Wrong-Way Saw Mill Crash That Injures Man
A woman from South Salem pleaded guilty Wednesday to felony vehicular assault, DWI and other charges after she crashed into a vehicle driven by a man on the Saw Mill Parkway in New Castle, Acting Westchester County District Attorney James A. McCarty said. Tess Keegan, 23, drove in the wrong direction when she crashed into a 2008 Toyota Camry. The victim was pinned inside his car and required extrication by the Pleasantville Fire Department.
