Teen Charged In Wilton With Underage DWI After Driving On Flat WILTON, Conn. — A teenager was charged by Wilton Police for underage DWI on Saturday, police said.The 16-year-old from Mount Kisco was driving on Route 7 South in Wilton when officers observed a car driving with a flat left front tire. The vehicle was also heavily damaged, according to police. When police stopped the car, they determined the operator to be intoxicated and was not of legal age. He also was not aware the tire was flat or the car was damaged, police said. He was released on $300 cash bond pending a Norwalk Superior Court date on March 16.

Ridgewood Clarifies Recycling Regulations RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Ridgewood residents are reminded of curbside recycling regulations, says Roberta Sonenfeld, Village Manager.Since curbside recycling began in 1991, residents have been asked to separate their items into different streams and to use the provided beige recycling barrels.  Recycling products are sold to processors and in the past, the village collected enough fees to significantly help in offsetting the expense of running this program, says Sonenfeld.  The level of fees is under siege and has actually decreased 18 percent over the last three years from $332,552 to $266,232; …
