Paul Milo has worked as a reporter in northern New Jersey for more than 20 years, first for North Jersey Media Group / NorthJersey.com, then at Patch.com and at NJ.com / The Star-Ledger. He has written about a 106-year-old World War I veteran, the Sept. 11 attacks and a 15-year-old stock manipulator who was the youngest person ever civilly charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission, among many other stories. He has interviewed governors, presidential candidates and celebrities including Ryan Seacrest and comedian Kevin Hart.

In addition to his work for New Jersey-based outlets, he has also written for BeliefNet, Editor and Publisher, The Huffington Post, The Boston Globe and other publications, as well as freelance assignments for global chemical company BASF.

His first book, Your Flying Car Awaits, was published by HarperCollins in 2010. As part of the book’s promotional efforts he was interviewed by The New York Times and on WNYC radio’s The Brian Lehrer Show

Caldwell Woman Accused Of Stealing $20K From Nursing Home Resident A woman from Caldwell is among a group of people indicted in a crackdown on fraud and abuse of the elderly and disabled living in care facilities, the state Office of the Insurance Fraud Prosecutor announced Monday.  Karissa-Anne Frannicola, 29 was charged with theft by failure to make disposition of property received and misapplication of entrusted property for thefts that allegedly occurred between April and August of 2017.  Frannicola had power of attorney over the elderly woman, who lived in a nursing home. Church In Newark Burglarized Over The Weekend Police are asking the public's help locating a man who broke into a Newark church just after midnight Sunday and tried to make off with a safe.  The burglary occurred sometime before 1 a.m. at Chosen Generation Ministries at 145 Hudson St. The burglar dropped the safe as he left the church but made off with a laptop and office equipment. Man Tried To Hug And Kiss 13-Year-Olds On Bayonne Street: Police A 23-year-old man was arrested after he hugged two teen girls he did not know on a city street Friday, Lt. Eric Amato of the Bayonne Police Department said.  Starling Rosario of Jersey City approached the girls around 7:30 p.m. near 4th Street and Kennedy Boulevard, embraced them and tried to kiss them. The girls called their fathers, who came to the area and held Rosario until police arrived, Amato said.  Rosario has been charged with harassment.

Two Killed In Separate Newark Shootings This Weekend Two Newark men were fatally shot hours apart in the city over the weekend, Chief Assistant Prosecutor Thomas Fennelly of the Essex County Prosecutor's Office said Sunday.  Police responded to a report of shots fired in the 300 block of South 9th Street around 11 p.m. Saturday.
