Paul Milo has worked as a reporter in northern New Jersey for more than 20 years, first for North Jersey Media Group / NorthJersey.com, then at Patch.com and at NJ.com / The Star-Ledger. He has written about a 106-year-old World War I veteran, the Sept. 11 attacks and a 15-year-old stock manipulator who was the youngest person ever civilly charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission, among many other stories. He has interviewed governors, presidential candidates and celebrities including Ryan Seacrest and comedian Kevin Hart.

In addition to his work for New Jersey-based outlets, he has also written for BeliefNet, Editor and Publisher, The Huffington Post, The Boston Globe and other publications, as well as freelance assignments for global chemical company BASF.

His first book, Your Flying Car Awaits, was published by HarperCollins in 2010. As part of the book’s promotional efforts he was interviewed by The New York Times and on WNYC radio’s The Brian Lehrer Show

Update: 'Outstanding' Union Teen Active In ROTC Dies In Car Crash A Union High School student who came from a family of firefighters and belonged to the school's junior ROTC program has died,  the New Jersey Veterans Network said Sunday.  According to the State Police, Anthony Steitz,  17, suffered serious injuries in a car crash Saturday night.  He was driving eastbound on I-78 in Watchung around 11:30 p.m. when his sedan  left the roadway and crashed into some trees. Update: Missing Union City Woman Found Safe UPDATE: Maria Polo was found safe Sunday night, police said.  Police in Union City are looking for a 65-year-old woman last seen Sunday morning.  Maria Polo's last known whereabouts were at 4409 Palisade Ave. around 9:45 a.m. She appeared to be heading north on Palisade Avenue.  Polo, who suffers from dementia, was last seen wearing a red long sleeve shirt with white lines on the elbow area, grey short sleeve silk blouse on top, black pants, and Nike sandals.  She is approximately 5’5" feet tall and weighs approximately 160 lbs. Teen From Union Seriously Injured In I-78 Crash A 17-year-old from Union suffered serious injuries in a car crash Saturday night, State Police spokesman Sgt. Elizabeth Man Killed In Hillside Crash Leaves Behind Young Son A fundraiser has been started for the Elizabeth man who was killed when his car slammed into the back of a tractor trailer in Hillside last week.  Uzodimma N. Oguh, 39, died early on the morning of April 22 when his car slid under the truck as it was pulling into a McDonald's parking lot on Rt. 22. The roadway was closed for several hours.  Family and friends are now raising funds to help with funeral and other costs for Oguh, whose survivors include his toddler son Luke.  Donations can be made via GoFundMe here.

Murphy Orders Flag With Confederate Symbol Removed From Jersey City Park Acting at the request of a Jersey City lawmaker, Gov.
