Police: Kohl's Shoplifter Said Stolen Jewelry Would Pay For Kids' Diapers FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A “known shoplifter” was arrested Saturday for attempting to steal nearly $400 worth of jewelry at Kohl’s on Tunxis Hill Road, police said. Hector Correa, 34, of Arctic Street, Bridgeport, told officers he planned to sell the jewelry on the street to pay for diapers for his children, police said. Westport Police: Teen Was Selling Pot From His Saugatuck Home WESTPORT, Conn. — Anonymous tips led to the arrest of a Westport teen police say was selling marijuana out of his home. In August, the Westport Police Department received two anonymous tips that drugs were being sold out of a Saugatuck Avenue home by a young man known as “JoJo,” police said. Cat Euthanized After Pit Bull Attack; Bridgeport Owner Gets Tickets FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A Bridgeport man faces fines after his pit bull attacked and killed a cat in Fairfield on Saturday afternoon, police said. Westport Police: Bridgeport Man Charged In Domestic Dispute WESTPORT, Conn. — A Bridgeport man who allegedly threw a woman to the ground during an argument Friday was arrested, police said. Man Calls 911 To Report He Shouldn't Be Driving FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A Long Island motorist who called 911 to report he shouldn’t be driving was arrested on a drug charge Friday when officers called to assist him found more than four ounces of pot in his truck, police said.
