Trumbull Man Faces Drug Charge In Fairfield Traffic Stop FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A Trumbull man faces drug charges after police stopped a driver for speeding on the Post Road in Fairfield Saturday and found his passenger with cocaine, police said. The 22-year-old was charged with illegal possession of narcotics after police found him with about 2.83 grams of suspected cocaine in three knotted bags, police said. The car he was riding in was stopped when police observed it traveling around 60 miles per hour near the traffic circle on the Post Road at 2 a.m., police said. He was released on a promise to appear in court on July 11.

Police: Westport Man Arrested After Fighting With Family In Front Of Kids WESTPORT, Conn. — A Westport man was arrested June 30 after he physically assaulted a visiting family member in front of children, police said. David Roth, 48, of Canal Street, assaulted a man in front of his children over a disagreement with his girlfriend at a Rices Lane residence, police said. He was charged with third-degree assault, two counts of risk of injury to a child and disorderly conduct, police said. He posted $2,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at Norwalk Superior Court on July 11.

Christina Servellon, 29, of Washington Avenue, was charged with two counts of assault on an emergency medical person, police said. She was unable to post $500 bond and was arraigned at Norwalk Superior Court the same day. The original incident happened on April 2013, police said.
