Cremation Urns Stolen, Vault Vandalized At Stratford Cemetery STRATFORD, Conn. — A Stratford man is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons who stole 18 cremation urns at Union Cemetery, including those holding the remains of his mother and grandmother. Glenn Everlith, Jr., owner of Main Street Tavern, said it appeared someone “blew open” the vault and took the urns Thursday morning, perhaps to sell as scrap metal. “It’s disgusting.
