John Jay High School Lyme Forum Draws Large Crowd DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- A forum on ticks and Lyme disease at John Jay High School drew a large turnout on Monday. Matthew Fyre, an educator for Integrated Pest Management at Cornell University, advised treating clothes with permethrin before going out and checking for ticks, The Poughkeepsie Journal said. Eighth-Graders Graduate From Isaac E. Young Middle School NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Isaac E. Young Middle School's eighth-grade class recently held the final graduation ceremony of the school year in the New Rochelle district. More Than 100 Show Up For Songs For Seeds Pool Concert SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- More than 100 parents and children caught a day of swimming and music when Songs for Seeds performed a concert at the Scarsdale Pool on Saturday, June 25. Children sang, danced and played instruments along with the group during the poolside concert.
