Jorge Ivan Galeano Jr., 38, Of Norwalk
NORWALK, Conn. – Jorge Ivan Galeano Jr., a resident of Norwalk, died Friday, March 11. He was 38.
He was born on October 9, 1977, in Norwalk, to Ivan Galeano and Christine Fleetwood Galeano.
He is survived by his siblings, Hobie Galeano; Holly Marie Galeano and Christian Nieves; his aunt, Luz Marina Zapata; a grandmother; a niece; and many relatives.
A memorial will be celebrated on Friday, March 18 from 4-8 p.m. at Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory at 5 East Wall St., Norwalk, followed by a memorial service at Saint Joseph Church in Norwalk, on Saturday, March 19 at 1:30 p.m.
Alfred Clarence Jackson Sr., 83, Of Norwalk
NORWALK, Conn. – Alfred Clarence Jackson Sr., a resident of Norwalk, died Sunday, March 13. He was 83.
He was born in Norwalk on April 25, 1932, to the late Clarence Alfred and Florence Jackson. He worked in many places in his life, including: the Potato Chip Company, City of Norwalk, and many of the Norwalk Schools.
He is survived by his son, Alfred Jackson, of Shelton; along with many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Flossie Harriet Thompson; his daughter; and his brothers, Howard, Walter, Edward, and Art; along with his sister, Mildred Jackson.

Ellen Bent Browne, 79, Of Mamaroneck
MAMARONECK, N.Y. – Ellen Bent Browne, a resident of Mamaroneck, died Monday, March 14. She was 79.A resident of Mamaroneck for nearly 20 years, she was born in Marlboro, Mass. Previously, she resided in Rye, where she had raised her children. She was a graduate of Marymount College. She was a member of the 26th Twig of United Hospital and was a longtime member of the Larchmont Shore Club.
She is survived by her daughter, Amy Villalba, of Mamaroneck; her son, Peter Browne and his wife Caroline, of Bernardsville, N.J.; and three grandchildren: Lindsay, Andrew, and Lauren.

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Kenneth James Moore, a resident of Fairfield, died Thursday, March 10. He was 55.
He is survived by his wife Linda; his sons, Alexander James, Matthew George and Andrew Kenneth Moore.
Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Trinity Episcopal Church, 651 Pequot Ave. in Southport on Saturday, March 19, at 1 p.m.

NORWALK, Conn. – George W. Benton Sr., a resident of Norwalk, died Thursday, March 10. He was 88.
Benton was the sole proprietor of George Benton Maintenance Service for more than 50 years in the Fairfield County area.
He is survived by his five children, Barbara (Clarence) Boone; Ernestine (Christ) Duff; Brenda Benton (Wilbert) Brown; George W. Benton Jr. and Carol Benton; his brother, Eston Benton; his sister, Elizabeth Arthur; his four granddaughters; one great granddaughter; one great-great granddaughter; and also many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

William S. Sutka, 83, Of Poughkeepsie
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – William S. Sutka, a lifelong resident of Poughkeepsie, died Thursday, March 10. He was 83.
During the Korean War, Sutka servied in the U.S Army. In 1950, he joined the Fairview Fire District as a volunteer firefighter. He was a career firefighter with the Fairview Fire District from 1971-85. During his career, he served as assistant chief from 1971-73 and chief from 1974-79. He also was a communicant of St. Peter's Church in Hyde Park and a former member of the Salmon Rod & Gun Club and the Crum Elbow Sportsmen Association.
