Kathleen Waters, 88, Of Nanuet
NANUET, N.Y. – Kathleen Waters, a resident of Mooresville, N.C., and formerly of Nanuet, N.Y., died Saturday, March 12. She was 88.
She was born June 12, 1927, on Achille Island, Ireland, to John and Margaret (McGinty) McLoughlin.
She is survived by her children, James and Kathleen; and two granddaughters.
She was predeceased by her husband, James P. Waters; and her daughter, Patricia.
Visiting hours will be Thursday, March 17 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home in West Nyack, NY.

Donald Hegeman, 95, Of Poughkeepsie
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Donald G. Hegeman, a resident of Poughkeepsie, died Sunday, March 13. He was 95.
He was born in Highland, N.Y. on Jan. 14, 1921, the son of the late Howard F. and Mabel Relyea Hegeman.
He graduated from Highland High School in 1939, where he excelled in varsity football, basketball and baseball. He also served his country in the Army during World War II as a bridge builder in Central Europe. In addition, he worked as a foreman foreman and programmer for Alpha Laval retiring in 1983. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Poughkeepsie.

BERGENFIELD, N.J. – Elizabeth Reed Riewerts, a resident of Bergenfield, died Saturday, March 12. She was 97.
She was raised in Pennington and was a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University. She had been a resident of Bergenfield since 1945. She was active in the Contemporary Women's Club and was a member of the South Presbyterian Church.

Joseph P. Cascio, Sr., 84, Of Beacon
BEACON, N.Y. – Joseph P. Cascio Sr., a ten-year resident of Beacon, formerly of Virginia Beach, Mahopac, and Westchester County, died Friday, March 11. He was 84.
Cascio was a Korean War Veteran and joined the U.S. Army in 1951 and remained on active duty until being honorably discharged in 1954. He was in the 45th Infantry Thunderbird Division.
