She was born June 12, 1927, on Achille Island, Ireland, to John and Margaret (McGinty) McLoughlin. She is survived by her children, James and Kathleen; and two granddaughters. He was born in Highland, N.Y. on Jan. 14, 1921, the son of the late Howard F. and Mabel Relyea Hegeman.  He graduated from Highland High School in 1939, where he excelled in varsity football, basketball and baseball.
