Jack A. Neunhoffer, 88, Of Park Ridge
PARK RIDGE, N.J. – Jack A. Neunhoffer, a resident of Park Ridge, died Tuesday, March 15. He was 88.
Before retiring, he was a chemist for Creole Petroleum Corporation in Venezuela and New York. He was a member of Trinity Reformed Church in Old Tappan, N.J., where he served as a deacon, an elder and was financial secretary for 25 years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife Grace; his two sons; a daughter; and a step-daughter.
He was predeceased by his brother, Charles.

SADDLE RIVER, N.J. – Kathleen A. Britt, a resident of Saddle River, died Friday, March 18. She was 71.
She graduated from Teaneck High School in 1962 and Penn State in 1966. She attended graduate school at Newark State College, Kean University, Lincoln College of Oxford University and Landmark College. She taught in Red Bank for one year and Middletown Township for 37 years as an elementary teacher and special education teacher at the elementary and secondary levels.

NEW CITY, N.Y. – Howard Weiss, a resident of New City, died Friday, March 18. He was 80.
He was born Sept. 5, 1935, in Brooklyn.
Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Sunday at Hellman Memorial Chapels, 15 State St., Spring Valley with Rabbi Berkman officiating. Interment will follow at Beth El Cemetery, 735 Forest Ave., Paramus N.J.

Born Feb. 12, 1939, in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Salvatore Carvo and Virginia Pizzuto Carvo.

NEW MILFORD, N.J. -- Happy birthday to New Milford's Bobby Steele.Steele, a native of New Milford, turns 60 today.
Steele, an American punk rock musician, was born on March 18, 1956, and grew up in New Milford. He is the current guitar player, song writer, and original member of the punk bank The Undead.
He has been a member of multiple other bands, most known as the second guitarist of The Misfits. He married Diana Viar who joined The Undead in November 2014. They are both in the band RIP that started in 2013.
Frederick Schettig, 90, Of Valley Cottage
VALLEY COTTAGE, N.Y. – Frederick Schettig, a resident of Valley Cottage, died Wednesday, March 16. He was 90.
He was born Sept. 4, 1925, to Gustave Schettig and Mary Palkovick Schettig in Sparkill. After serving in the Army Air Corps in North Africa during World War II, he married his wife, Doris of Closter N.J. He retired from International Paper as a service manager in 1988 and moved to Ocean View, Del.
