ORANGEBURG, N.Y. – Dorothy Byrne, a resident of Orangeburg, died Friday, May 6. She was 91.
She was born on May 7,1925, in Queens, to William and Mary Ellen Mann.
Before retiring in 1990, she was vice president of Marine Midland Bank in Manhattan for more than 20 years. She was a parishioner of St. Catharine’s Church in Blauvelt.
She is survived by her children, Edward S. and his wife, Fran, Brian and his wife, Anne, Peter and his wife, Margaret and Paul and his wife Virginia; her brother Eugene Mann; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Herbert Gluckman, a resident of White Plains, died Monday, May 23. He was 95.Born March 3, 1921, in Brockton, Mass., he was the son of the late Harry and Reita Gluckman.
During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps.
He is survived by his children, Robert (Susan) and Harriet (Fred) Mehlman; his grandchildren, Sarah (Michael), Julia (Joe), Ella, Allyson and Heather; a great-grandson, Asher; and his sister, Muriel Gaines.

He was born Jan.30, 1929, in Springfield, Mass., to Alphonse Rainville and Columbienne Giveau.
