Michael Dann, Network Programmer, 94, Of Chappaqua
CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- Michael Dunn, a resident of Chappaqua and prominent television executive, died Friday, May 27. He was 94.
He was born on Sept. 11, 1921, in Detroit, where his father, Moe, ran a scrap-iron business. His mother, the former Dorothy Bobroff, was a homemaker.
After earning a degree in economics from the University of Michigan in 1941, he enlisted in the Army. A childhood case of polio had left him with a limp, and he was unfit for combat duty. Instead, he wrote for the armed forces newspaper, Stars and Stripes.

Thomas R. Mahoney, 78, Of New Rochelle
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Thomas R. Mahoney, a resident of New Rochelle, died Saturday, May 28. He was 78.
Born in the Bronx on March 3, 1938, he was the son of the late Thomas J. and Ethel M. Mahoney.
He is survived by his children, B.T. Robert and Jennifer Mahoney; his grandchildren, Ryan Hannah, Morgan, Kaitlyn and Connor; his sister, Mary Mahoney Burns (James J.); and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Benito 'Benny' Protano, 81, Of Mamaroneck
MAMARONECK, N.Y. – Benito "Benny" Protano, a longtime resident of Mamaroneck died Friday, May 27. He was 81. Born in Roccasecca, Italy, on May 19, 1935, he was the son of the late Bernardo and Bernarda (DeSantis) Protano.
He emigrated from Italy at the age of 19 and was a hardworking man who enjoyed using his hands to help others. He worked as a tile-setter and was the owner of Woodbine Tile in Mamaroneck until his retirement. He was a member of the Alessandro Manzoni Lodge 258 Order of Sons of Italy in Mamaroneck for over 50 years.

PEARL RIVER, N.Y. – Ruth M. Schultz, a resident of Pearl River, died Thursday, May 26. She was 93.
Born Aug.23, 1922, in Briarcliff Manor, she was the daughter of Clarence and Mae Cogswell.
She worked for Mel’s Army Navy Store in Pearl River as a saleswoman. Locally, she was a member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Pearl River.
She is survived by her sons, Glenn Schultz of Fredericksburg, Va. and Keith Schultz of Blauvelt; and grandchildren, Kimberly Schultz of Jacksonville, Fla. and Christopher Schultz of Warwick.
She was predeceased by her husband Arthur.

PINE PLAINS, N.Y. – Martin Elliot Revson, a resident of Pine Plains, died Thursday, May 26. He was 105.
Born June 15, 1910, in Boston, and raised in Manchester, N.H., he was the youngest of three sons born to Jeanette (Weiss) and Samuel Revson.
As head of worldwide marketing for Revlon, he contributed to and supervised all advertising campaigns. WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Helen Sauter, a resident of White Plains, died Tuesday, May 24. She was 86.
She was born and raised in the Bronx and was a longtime resident of Greenburgh. She graduated from Hunter College with a BA in philosophy and classical languages. She touched the lives of countless children as a teacher's aide at Alice E. Grady Elementary School in Elmsford.

PEARL RIVER, N.Y. – Wolbert Roettgers, a resident of Pearl River, died Tuesday, May 24. He was 90.
Born on Feb.21,1926, in Muenster, Germany, he was the son of Heinrich and Margarete Leuters Roettgers. He came to the United States in 1926.
He worked as a research physicist for the Mearl Corporation in Ossining, N.Y., for 25 years before retiring in 1996.
