DANBURY, Conn. – Mildred S. Peene, a resident of Danbury and formerly of Deland, Fla., died Wednesday, June 1. She was 98.
Born July 16, 1917, in Pine Plains, she was the daughter of the late Adelbert and Ethel Kellerhouse Shultz. She married William Peene Sept.7, 1940, in Pine Plains.
She is survived by her nephew, Robert Camenga and his wife Dorothy; niece, Donna Stanley; nephew, Bill Shultz; niece, Mary Briggs and her husband, Tom; niece, Marcia Eckl and her husband, Jim; sister-in-law, Phyllis Shultz; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Jean Elizabeth Kirchner, a resident of Poughkeepsie, died Thursday, June 2. She was 86.
Born in Jan.27, 1930, in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Shields McClure of Belfast, Ireland.
She was employed by St. Francis Hospital for 23 years, before her retirement in 1993, and has been a resident of Hyde Park since 1969. On March 3, 1973, she married Jack Kirchner, who predeceased her August 17, 1998.

SUFFERN, N.Y. – William E. Curtin, a resident of Suffern, died Sunday, May 29. He was 68.
He was born on Jan.31,1948, in the Bronx, to Daniel and Margaret Curtin.
He served honorably in the Navy on the USS Ranger and served two tours in Vietnam.
