EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Marilynn A. Stahlin, a resident of East Rutherford, died Thursday, Feb.18. She was 81.Stahlin retired from Sequa Can Machinery in East Rutherford after working there for 20 years as a bookkeeper.
She was a parishioner of Most Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church in Wallington.
She is survived by her husband William J. Stahlin; daughters Laura J. Stahlin and Karen G. Carrier and her husband Jeff; granddaughter Madison Grace Carrier; and brother James Cashin.

Edward Anthony Martin, 66, Of Pawling
PAWLING, N.Y. -- Edward Anthony Martin, a resident of Pawling, died Wednesday, Feb. 17. He was 66.Martin served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He worked in security for Metro-North Railroad out of North White Plains. He is survived by his wife, Theresa; two daughters, Katie and Kristen Martin; a brother, Peter Martin; and a sister, Kathy Martin.
He was predeceased by his parents.

HAVERSTRAW, N.Y. -- Gertrude Schmidt, a resident of Haverstraw, died Monday, Feb.15. She was 85.She is survived by her husband, George Schmidt; her children, Gunther and his wife Andrea; Sylvia and her husband Tommy; and George and his wife Ronda; her grandchildren, Skye, Jade, Emily, Gregory, Raymond, Ryan; a great-grandchild, Tanner; and two brothers, Alois and Helmut Eder.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, Feb. 19, at St. Gregory Barbarigo Church in Garnerville. Interment was at St. Peter's Cemetery in Haverstraw.

She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Calise, seven sibling and her parents, Nicholas and Mary Crescenzi.
