Let Them Eat Cake From Rosary Society In Saddle Brook SADDLE BROOK, N.J. -- Pick up some homemade goodies at the Saddle Brook Rosary Altar Society Fall Cake sale on Saturday and Sunday.The annual tradition takes place at Philip the Apostle School from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.  "Every Rosarian tries to make two or three items," said Camille Tritto, Rosary Altar Society president. Haworth Creates Halloween Zone For Trick-Or-Treaters HAWORTH, N.J. -- A town-wide trick or treating event takes place in Haworth on Monday.The following streets will be closed for Halloween fun from 3-6 p.m."  Prospect Avenue from Pine Lane to Harrison Street  Whitman Street from Memorial Field to Adams Street   Candy donations are required to supplement residents in the Trick-or-Treat zone. There will also be music, hot dogs and other treats.   Residents are asked to drop off donated candy or bags at borough hall before the event. Haworth Borough Hall is located at 300 Haworth Ave.

Former Danbury Nightclub Owner, 21, Get 3 Years In Prison For Ponzi Scheme DANBURY, Conn. — A 21-year-old Danbury man who once owned the Tuxedo Junction nightclub was sentenced Wednesday to three years in federal prison for defrauding investors of nearly $500,000 in a Ponzi scheme. Ian Bick's prison term will be followed by three years of supervised release, with the first one served in home confinement, according to Connecticut U.S. Attorney Deirdre Daly. A jury found Bick guilty on six counts of wire fraud and one count of money laundering in November 2015. Happy Birthday To Former Ramapo Football Coach Rich Skrosky Of Lodi LODI, N.J. -- Happy birthday to former Lodi resident Rich Skrosky.The former Ramapo College football player and coach was born Oct. 26, 1964 and turns age 52 on Wednesday. Skrosky was born in Passaic and lived in Lodi while coaching at Lodi High School and St. Peter's Prep. He played football at Ramapo College, where he served one season as head coach in 1992.  He was hired as head football coach at Elon for the 2014 season. Before that, he was an assistant coach at Elon from 2006-10.
