Wyckoff AMC Stubs Members Can Watch Election On Big Screen
Members of AMC Stubs and two guests are invited to watch CNN election results for free at participating AMC movie theaters. Stubs members can choose between Election Night result viewing parties at theaters designated as either blue (Democratic) or red (Republican). Live coverage begins at 7 p.m. on Nov. 8. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Attendees must present a printed pass and exchange for a ticket. Funeral Service For Beloved Teaneck Music Teacher Set For November
TEANECK, N.J. -- Edward Thompson, a music teacher at Whittier School in Teaneck, died Saturday, Oct. 22 after a long illness. He was 62. Thompson was born June 12, 1954 in Englewood and lived in Wayne for over 30 years before moving to Glen Ridge. He is William Paterson College graduate. Along with his parents and his sister, he was a founding member of Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, dating from 1965, and served as its music director. RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Happy birthday to Ridgewood resident Bowie Kuhn (October 28, 1926 – March 15, 2007), who would have turned 90 today.He was the fifth Commissioner of Major League Baseball (1969-1984) and was a Wall Street lawyer.
