ORADELL, N.J. -- Mathilda M. McKinley, of Oradell, died on Friday, Dec. 16. She was 76. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, and later moved to Granite Springs. She graduated with a degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology. She was proud of the German heritage she received from her parents, Mathilda and Henry Schreiner. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking. She had a love of animals, and took wonderful care of her “Rosie.” She especially enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren. Accused murderer Robert Durst, a Westchester native and millionaire real estate heir, told prosecutors that he was high on methamphetamines during interviews with the filmmakers of the HBO special “The Jinx” in court documents released Friday, according to The Los Angeles Times.
