Go Kart Racing Comes To Palisades Center In Nyack
NYACK, N.Y. — Euro-style go karts clocking speeds of 50 m.p.h. will soon race around the upper level of the Palisades Center in Nyack through a 43,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility. Autobahn Indoor Speedway’s first mall location is one of 10 racetracks planned so far, managing partner David Larsen said. Open locations include two in Baltimore, Birmingham, Memphis, and Jacksonville. Set to open this year are Nyack; Manassas, Vir./D.C.; Hampshire Mall, Mass.; Harrisburg, Pa.; and Tucson, Ariz. Englewood's Blue Moon Mexican Cafe Fundraiser Benefits Teaneck Rotary
ENGLEWOOD, N.J. — Blue Moon Mexican Cafe in Englewood is participating in a community night for Teaneck Rotary Club Wednesday, March 2. The cafe will be taking part in a fundraiser where 20 percent of each customer’s bill goes towards the Teaneck Rotary Club. The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Englewood location. The donation is also applied to catering and gift cards, as well as lunch, dinner, take out, and delivery. BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — The credit rating for the City of Bridgeport has been reclassified as ‘negative’ from its previous August of 2014 position of ‘stable,’ according to a Feb. 16 statement released by Moody's Investors Service. UPPER SADDLE RIVER, N.J. — Jack Daniels Porsche in Saddle River is participating in an event to help local children in need Friday, Feb. 26. The Jack Daniels Good Neighbor Program is having a fundraiser that will provide healthy snack foods for children in need.
