AAA Report Says Most Drivers Regularly Make Bad Choices Behind Wheel
The majority of people on the road are taking risks behind the wheel, AAA says. An estimated 87 percent of people have engaged in at least one risky behavior within the past month while driving, AAA's new report indicates. These behaviors include driving while distracted, impaired or drowsy; speeding; running red lights; or not wearing a seat belt, according to the Foundation’s latest Traffic Safety Culture Index study. Bridgeport Man Charged With Manslaughter In Fatal Stratford Crash
STRATFORD, Conn. — A Bridgeport man was arrested on charges of second-degree manslaughter in connection with a fatal crash last year in Stratford, Connecticut State Police said. Jonathan Rosa-Whitlock, 27, who lives on the University of Bridgeport campus, turned himself in to state police after learning there was a warrant for his arrest, police said. He was wanted in connection with an accident on April 26, 2015, on the Merritt Parkway that left an a 27-year-old Bridgeport man dead, police said. POUND RIDGE, N.Y. — A special hands-on kids program is being offered Saturday, Feb. 27 at the Pound Ridge Reservation. Bloomingdale Church Offers Devils Hockey Tickets
