Fewer Million Dollar Earners In New York There are less millionaires in New York for the first time since 2009, reports lohud.com. New York's increase in millionaires between 2011-13 was 8 percent compared to the national average of 11 percent, reports lohud.com. Westchester County had the most people in New York making more than $1 million with the exception of Manhattan, but it's down nearly 6 percent between 2012 and 2013, reports lohud.com. Man Stopped For Speeding On I-87 Charged With DWI, Cocaine Possession TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- New York State Police pulled over a speeding car on Wednesday night in Tarrytown and charged a Yonkers man with driving while intoxicated and possession of cocaine, police said. Juan M. Sierra, 42, was was transported and processed at State Police Tarrytown where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.14 percent. Sierra has a prior DWI conviction within the last 10 years, police said. Spectra Donates To Montrose Fire Department MONTROSE, N.Y. -- A check was recently presented to the Montrose Fire District by Spectra Energy.Chief Peter J. Kolesar accepted the check for new equipment from Marylee Hanley from Spectra, along with Fire Commissioner John Jackson and 1st Assistant Chief Scott Gilbert. Playground To Memorialize Weston Woman Injured In Boston Bombing WESTON, Conn. — A GoFundMe site has been launched to build a memorial playground in memory of a Weston woman who dedicated her life to helping others after being injured in the Boston Marathon bombings.Boston firefighter Jimmy Plourde created the site after learning Victoria McGrath, who he had carried to safety on April 15, 2013, had died in a Dubai car crash in March.
