Saddle River Author Signs Self-Published Book In Westwood WESTWOOD, N.J. -- A Saddle River author is having a book signing at a Westwood shop on Saturday.Christian Alecci of Saddle River will sign his first book, "Avon: The Storms of Change" from 6-9 p.m. on May 7 at Market House.  Participants will get a chance to meet the author and have cocktails and snacks.  Alecci battled addiction to drugs and alcohol and wrote the book during his battle to become clean and sober.  Sarah Christensen and Chelsea Quinn own Market House, a shop devoted to supporting local artisans and vendors. Rutherford 10-Year-Old Wins Elks Hoop Shoot Championship RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- A 10-year-old in Rutherford won recently took third place nationwide in the Elks Hoop Shoot Championship.Luke Gaccione first had to win the Ortega Hoop Shoot in Rutherford. He then advanced to South Plainfield, where he won the State Championship.  Gaccione advanced to regionals in Wilkes Barre, Pa. before advancing to the finals in Chicago.
