U.S. Allocates $150 Million Toward Repairing Meadowlands The Meadowlands area in south Bergen County is receiving $150 million in federal funds to mitigate flooding and enhance resiliency.Little Ferry, Teterboro, Moonachie and Carlstadt was awarded the money from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.  Funds will benefit the design and construction of a solution that will reduce flooding risks.  A design concept was selected as a winner of HUD’s 2014 Rebuild by Design competition.
