Paul Milo has worked as a reporter in northern New Jersey for more than 20 years, first for North Jersey Media Group / NorthJersey.com, then at Patch.com and at NJ.com / The Star-Ledger. He has written about a 106-year-old World War I veteran, the Sept. 11 attacks and a 15-year-old stock manipulator who was the youngest person ever civilly charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission, among many other stories. He has interviewed governors, presidential candidates and celebrities including Ryan Seacrest and comedian Kevin Hart.

In addition to his work for New Jersey-based outlets, he has also written for BeliefNet, Editor and Publisher, The Huffington Post, The Boston Globe and other publications, as well as freelance assignments for global chemical company BASF.

His first book, Your Flying Car Awaits, was published by HarperCollins in 2010. As part of the book’s promotional efforts he was interviewed by The New York Times and on WNYC radio’s The Brian Lehrer Show

Fugitive Wanted In Plainfield Killing Arrested A suspect in the killing of a Plainfield man in May was arrested last week after spending weeks on the run, the Union County Prosecutor's Office said Monday.  Authorities have been looking for Djuan Gamble, 26, since at least June 12, when he was charged with murder and related weapons offenses in connection to the death of 32-year-old Jaquan Heyward.  Heyward was found by police in the courtyard of the Liberty Village housing complex May 26. he had been shot multiple times.  He was pronounced dead at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital about an hour later.  Gamble…

Man Exposed Himself To Passing Vehicle In Secaucus: Police A Secaucus man has been charged after he exposed himself to a passing vehicle Wednesday, police said.  Sergio Mendez, 47, was near the Maple Street ramp to Paterson Plank Road around 1:10 p.m. when police say the incident occurred.  Mendez has been charged with lewdness and endangering the welfare of a child.
