Paul Milo has worked as a reporter in northern New Jersey for more than 20 years, first for North Jersey Media Group / NorthJersey.com, then at Patch.com and at NJ.com / The Star-Ledger. He has written about a 106-year-old World War I veteran, the Sept. 11 attacks and a 15-year-old stock manipulator who was the youngest person ever civilly charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission, among many other stories. He has interviewed governors, presidential candidates and celebrities including Ryan Seacrest and comedian Kevin Hart.

In addition to his work for New Jersey-based outlets, he has also written for BeliefNet, Editor and Publisher, The Huffington Post, The Boston Globe and other publications, as well as freelance assignments for global chemical company BASF.

His first book, Your Flying Car Awaits, was published by HarperCollins in 2010. As part of the book’s promotional efforts he was interviewed by The New York Times and on WNYC radio’s The Brian Lehrer Show

State Police Identify Man Killed In Wayne Tuesday The victim in a fatal accident that partly closed I-80 in Wayne Tuesday morning was a 42-year-old Staten Island man, State Police said.  Christian More-Rodas was standing outside his vehicle on the westbound shoulder near Exit 53 around 5:40 a.m. when he was struck by a pickup truck, according to police. More-Rodas was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver of the pickup remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, State Police also said.

Update: One Person Killed In Crash On I-80 In Wayne, Victim ID'd UPDATE: State Police have identified the victim of a Tuesday morning fatal crash in Wayne. Christian More-Rodas, 42, of Staten Island, N.Y., was killed in the crash on I-80, State Police said. Troopers responded to Exit 53 on the westbound side around 5:39 a.m. The subsequent investigation closed lanes until about 9:30 a.m., a spokesman said.  The spokesman did not have additional information on the crash, adding that the agency would likely release more information later Tuesday.
