Paul Milo has worked as a reporter in northern New Jersey for more than 20 years, first for North Jersey Media Group / NorthJersey.com, then at Patch.com and at NJ.com / The Star-Ledger. He has written about a 106-year-old World War I veteran, the Sept. 11 attacks and a 15-year-old stock manipulator who was the youngest person ever civilly charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission, among many other stories. He has interviewed governors, presidential candidates and celebrities including Ryan Seacrest and comedian Kevin Hart.

In addition to his work for New Jersey-based outlets, he has also written for BeliefNet, Editor and Publisher, The Huffington Post, The Boston Globe and other publications, as well as freelance assignments for global chemical company BASF.

His first book, Your Flying Car Awaits, was published by HarperCollins in 2010. As part of the book’s promotional efforts he was interviewed by The New York Times and on WNYC radio’s The Brian Lehrer Show

Two-Year-Old Found Home Alone In Newark, Police Say Authorities are investigating after a toddler was found unattended at a Newark home Wednesday afternoon.  The 2-year-old girl was seen throwing things out of an open second-floor window at a residence on S. 19th Street, a Newark police spokesman said. The agency issued Sinai Trucking a penalty of $527,000 and the second company, Keila Transport, a $185,000 fine. Sinai’s owner and president are Angel A. Bravo-Gomez and Anthony Gomez, respectively. Several Children Accidentally Pepper-Sprayed In Jersey City: Reports As many as 25 children in Jersey City were treated after a classmate mistakenly set off a pepper spray container at school Wednesday morning, according to published reports.  The incident occurred as third-graders were in a gym class at Whitney Young Jr. School, where the student activated a pepper-spray container attached to a keychain.  The school was evacuated and reopened a few hours later.
