Paul Milo has worked as a reporter in northern New Jersey for more than 20 years, first for North Jersey Media Group / NorthJersey.com, then at Patch.com and at NJ.com / The Star-Ledger. He has written about a 106-year-old World War I veteran, the Sept. 11 attacks and a 15-year-old stock manipulator who was the youngest person ever civilly charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission, among many other stories. He has interviewed governors, presidential candidates and celebrities including Ryan Seacrest and comedian Kevin Hart.

In addition to his work for New Jersey-based outlets, he has also written for BeliefNet, Editor and Publisher, The Huffington Post, The Boston Globe and other publications, as well as freelance assignments for global chemical company BASF.

His first book, Your Flying Car Awaits, was published by HarperCollins in 2010. As part of the book’s promotional efforts he was interviewed by The New York Times and on WNYC radio’s The Brian Lehrer Show

Lyft Offering Deal On Rides To Shore From Jersey City, Hoboken, Newark Ride-share company Lyft is offering special deals for transportation to selected Jersey Shore locations from three North Jersey cities beginning this weekend, the company said. Lyft Beach Pass will offer rides to beaches in Monmouth and Ocean counties from Newark, Hoboken and Jersey City at a fixed fare of $80. Up to four people can share, the company also said. The special $80 fare can be unlocked using promo code BEACHPASSNJ. The deal is available every weekend, from Friday afternoon to Sunday night, until Labor Day. Quantities are limited.
