Employees of the Kings Highway Cutoff store said the man placed two Milwaukee fuel drivers, valued at $399 each, on the customer service desk around 4 p.m., saying he needed to get some things he wanted to return. When the clerk wasn’t looking, the man picked up the drivers and fled the store, police said. Police have a plate number on his car and are reviewing surveillance video.
