Westport Cops: Stop & Shop Employee Caught Stealing On Camera WESTPORT, Conn. — A Stop & Shop employee was arrested Monday after he was caught on camera stealing money from a cash register, Westport police said. Joshua Hopkins, 24, of Hawley Avenue, Bridgeport, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, police said. Officers were called to the Post Road supermarket at 8 p.m. May 1. A store manager said Hopkins was seen on a camera taking a bill from the large side of a cashier drawer, dropping it on the floor and stepping on it before placing it in his pocket, police said.
