Westport Police: Man In Crash Found With Heroin, Cocaine, Pain Killers WESTPORT, Conn. — A New Haven man who crashed his car on Riverside Avenue Tuesday ended up arrested when officers found heroin, cocaine, suboxone and hypodermic needles in the vehicle, police said. Michael White, 28, of Birch Lane, was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. He was held on $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on June 13. Body Found In Burning Car In Bridgeport BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Firefighters responding to a car fire Wednesday night made a grisly discovery — the body of a man in the burning vehicle. Bridgeport firefighters arrived at the burning car at Houston and Dodd avenues around 10 p.m. and found the body in the passenger seat after they suppressed the blaze, said city Communications Director Rowena White.
