Fairfield Police: Woman Sent To Hospital In Motorcycle Crash FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A motorcycle passenger was sent to the hospital Saturday, after a food delivery driver made an unexpected U-turn in front of the bike, sending her to the pavement, police said. The motorcycle was traveling south on South Benson Road near Craig Court around 7:45 p.m. and was unable to stop when the car made the turn, police said. The vehicles did not make contact, but the motorcycle crashed. When officers arrived, the 59-year-old woman was lying on the road with a laceration on her head, police said.
