Stamford Man Charged With Harassing Coaches, Staff At SHU In Fairfield FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A Stamford man was arrested Monday after he repeatedly harassed Sacred Heart University coaches and staff, saying he believed two university basketball players had sexually assaulted his girlfriend, police said. The university’s public safety office told Fairfield police that Paul Percudani, 42, of Oaklawn Avenue, made calls, left threatening voice mails and confronted coaches and staff, even after he was told to stay away from the university, police said. Fairfield Police Arrest Suspects In Chinese Takeout Thefts FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Two men suspected of stealing food from three Chinese food delivery drivers in recent weeks were arrested Monday night after restaurant staff recognized a caller’s phone number and alerted police, said police. N.J. Man Charged With Drunken Driving At Fairfield University's Entrance FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A New Jersey man was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol on April 3, when Fairfield University public safety pulled him over at the school’s North Benson Road entrance, police said. Peter Jones, 26, of Oak Ridge Avenue, Summit, was stopped at about 1 a.m., police said. Fairfield police were called to the scene, and Jones failed field sobriety tests, police said. He posted $40 bond and is scheduled to appear in court April 12, police said.

Bridgeport Man Charged With Sexually Assaulting Sacred Heart Student BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A Bridgeport man was arrested Tuesday and charged with sexually assaulting a Sacred Heart University student at his Scofield Avenue home on March 30, police said. Alfonso Reid, 39, was taken into custody without incident at his home at about 6:30 a.m., police said. He was charged with first-degree sexual assault and was held on $750,000 bond, police said. Reid is alleged to have taken the 19-year-old woman to his home, where he sexually assaulted her, according to police. He is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday, police said.

Fairfield Police: Sacred Heart University Reimbursed In $27K iPhone Scam FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Officials at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield notified police that its Verizon account had been compromised April 1, after it was billed for 50 iPhones with a total value of $27,499, police said. Police said the phones were shipped in five packages to the university’s Park Avenue address, but they arrived on Good Friday and the school was closed. Police: Woman Pushed Relative Through Screen Door In Fairfield FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A Fairfield woman was arrested Saturday after police said she pushed an adult relative through a screen door after the relative had tried to retrieve a cat carrier from the woman’s bedroom. Rachel Young, 24, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct, police said. The relative sustained minor scratches in the 8 a.m. incident, police said. Young was released on $5,000 bond. She was scheduled to appear in court April 5.

Fairfield Girl, 15, Reports She Was Sexually Assaulted By 16-Year-Old Boy FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A 15-year-old Fairfield girl told police Friday that she had been sexually assaulted by a 16-year-old Fairfield boy, police said. The alleged incident took place on Oct. 15, police said. No other information was released, and the case is under investigation, police said.
