Eleanor Vogel, 82, Longtime Fort Lee Resident
FORT LEE, N.J. -- Eleanor (Kahn) Vogel, a longtime resident of Fort Lee, died on Saturday, March 26. She was 82.
A resident of Fort Lee for 50 years, Vogel was an original member of the Englewood Cliffs Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Along with her late husband, she was a founding member. She never missed a Yankee game, with her dog, Lili, at her side.
She is survived by children Olivia Papa of Naples, Florida, and Allan Boyer of Neptune, New Jersey; grandchildren Jamie Chatfield, Erica Roberts, and Alexandra and Gabrielle Boyer; and great-granddaughter Katie Chatfield.

Donald L. Hicks, 83, LaGrange Resident
LAGRANGE, N.Y. -- Donald L. Hicks, of Lagrange, died on Tuesday, March 22. He was 83.Born in Poughkeepsie, Hicks was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He owned Don Hicks Mobil, in Poughkeepsie. He enjoyed working on and collecting cars.
Hicks is survived by his children, Donald Hicks of Poughkeepsie, and Judy and her husband Kevin Temple of Lagrange; grandaughters Laura, Melessia, Alyssa and Emilie; and six great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, Ellen (Hakanson) Hicks; parents, Nelson and Anna (Smith) Hicks; and two brother and two sisters.

Harold James Bromm, 85, LongtimeNanuet Resident
NANUET, N.Y. -- Harold James Bromm, a longtime resident of Nanuet, died on Saturday, March 26. He was 85.
Born in Nyack, Bromm graduated from Pearl River high school and SUNY Oswego. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.
He was a technology teacher at Tappan Zee High School for 36 years. During his career he was named New York State Technology Teacher of the Year. Bromm was very active in his community, serving as a Boy Scout leader, a football coach and a church volunteer. He was also captain, president and life member of the Nanuet Ambulance Corps.

Gregg R. Hauser, 70, Park Ridge Resident
PARK RIDGE, N.J. -- Gregg R. Hauser, of Park Ridge, died on Wednesday, March 23. He was 70.Hauser received a bachelor's degree from the University of Dayton, a master's degree from the Graduate Faculty of The New School in New York City, and a doctorate from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He was a special education teacher, a learning disabilities consultant, a director of special services, a regional coordinator for special services, and a superintendent of schools in New Jersey for 25 years. He served as superintendent in the districts of Englewood Cliffs and Colts Neck.
