All Souls Community Church Honors Local Artists With Expo
RAMAPO, N.Y. -- All Souls Community Church will hold a community art expo on Friday, March 18. The expo will honor and display the work of 18 artists in the community, including three high school students and Suffern business owners, local teachers, retirees and professional artists. It will also feature live music. The event also will collect food for baskets to be given to local families. All Souls Community Church is at 81 Washington Ave. in Suffern.

Port Chester Celebrates Easter In The Park
PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Port Chester Department of Parks and Recreation held their annual Easter in the Park event at Lyon Park on Saturday, March 12. The Easter Bunny arrived by golf cart to meet and greet Port Chester kids, while their parents took photos. After posing for pictures, kids participated in games such as guessing how many jelly beans were in a jar.

AT&T Celebrates Grand Opening In Cortlandt
CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. -- AT&T recently celebrated the grand opening of its new Cortlandt Manor location. New York Yankee legend Jeff Nelson signed autographs with fans for two hours during opening festivities. Edward Bergstraesser, External Affairs AT&T, Cortlandt Manor Councilwoman Debra A. Costello and Town Supervisor Linda Pulgisi were also in attendance.

Registration Opens For Helen Hayes Youth Theatre's Summer Theater Program
NYACK, N.Y. -- Registration is now open for the Helen Hayes Youth Theatre's 18th annual summer theater program. Performers will spend two weeks rehearsing a full scale musical before performing it for friends and family at the Antrim Playhouse. HOPEWELL JUNCTION, N.Y. -- Brownie Troop 10052 of East Fishkill sold Girl Scout cookies in Hopewell Junction on Friday, March 11. Community Connection Kids Get On Their Feet
BREWSTER, N.Y. -- Miss Jacky from Seven Star School of Performing Arts led the kids of Community Connection in a free hip hop dance class at the Brewster Public Library. A packed house turned out to see the seven-member Wizards play basketball tricks and alleyoops against the 21-member faculty team at Sleepy Hollow High School.

Madava Farms Hosts Maple Weekend
DOVER PLAINS, N.Y. -- Madava Farms will celebrate all things Crown Maple at Maple Weekends on March 19 and 20 and April 2 and 3. Maple Weekends will feature complimentary maple syrup and sugar tastings, as well as maple cotton candy and popcorn. Crown Maple-inspired cocktails and specialty lunch products will also be available for purchase at the café. Patrons can take self-guided tours and learn where maple comes from with tapping demonstrations from farm staff. Tickets are not required.
