Arline Menzel, 90, Of Little Ferry
LITTLE FERRY, N.J. -- Arline Menzel, a resident of Little Ferry, died Wednesday, March 30. She was 90.
She was born Feb.10, 1926.
She is survived by her children Lynn Kaye, Janice C. Pergolizzi and her husband John and John D. Jr. and his wife, Pat; grandchildren Richard, Lisa, Laurie, Dawn, Jennifer, Melissa, Jaime and Kris; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Ann Kaye; niece Kim; and nephew Greg.
She was predeceased by her husband John D. Sr.; her sister June Nacca; and brothers, Charles, Harry, Raymond and Ronald Stever.

PINE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Mary F. Pechette, a resident of Pine Plains and Victory Mills, died Monday, March 28. She was 75.She was born on Jan. 23, 1941, in Schuylerville to the late Harold S. and Ruth Pechetter.
She was a 1957 graduate of Schuylerville Central School and attended the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. She retired in October 2004 from ITW in Lakeville, Conn.

ORANGEBURG, N.Y. -- Martha Mian, a resident of Orangeburg, died Monday, March 21. She was 88.She was born in 1927 to Paulo and Francesca Gattuso.
She was heavily involved in community activities, serving the St. Catharine’s Church Guild, the Blauvelt-Orangeburg Seniors and the Romanesque Lodge of Blauvelt, among other organizations. She received numerous honors from congressional, state and local officials.

NEW HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. --Ermelindo Roman, a resident of New Hempstead, died Wednesday, March 30. He was 83.He was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, to Manuel Roman and Leonarda Roman-Pagan.
He graduated from Catholic University of Puerto Rico with a bachelor’s degree in social science. He was a veteran who served during the Korean War, as a sergeant in the U.S. Army. He came to the U.S. and was a Garnerville resident for over 50 years.
