WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. -- Denise J. Donohue, a resident of Wappingers Falls, died Thursday, March 31. She was 73.She was born on Sept. 23,1942, in Watertown, N.Y., to Thaddeus X. and Georgene M. Denis Szwajer.
She graduated from St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing in Yonkers. She began her nursing career there, eventually retiring from the state of New York after working 20 years at Hudson River State Hospital in Poughkeepsie.
She is survived by her sister, Kathryn E. Szwajer of Wappingers Falls; her son, William; and numerous cousins.
