GARNERVILLE, N.Y. -- Thomas R. Leto Sr., a resident of Garnerville, died Sunday, April 17. He was 90.He was born on Feb.20,1926, in New York City to Thomas and Carrie Leto.
He served his country in the Merchant Marine. For more than 20 years, he was a firefighter with the N.Y. Fire Department, serving in the Bronx all his career and retiring in 1977. He was a life member of the Haverstraw Elks.

PAWLING, N.Y. -- Hazel Vera Osborne, a lifelong resident of Pawling, died Friday, April 15. She was 93.She was born Oct.15,1922, in Pawling, N.Y. to George and Daisy McDuffy Osborne.
A graduate of Pawling High School, she was a factory worker for Pawling Rubber Company. A lifelong resident of Pawling, she was a member of the Pawling Central Baptist Church.
