Maxine Ruth Gold, 82, Of Ridgewood
RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Maxine Ruth Gold, a resident of Ridgewood, died Friday, May 13. She was 82.She is survived by her daughters, Julie Crow and Dana Fellos; her siblings, Michael Gold, Roger Gold and Marcia Gold; and her grandchildren, Evan and Tyler.
The funeral was to be held at the Sanctuary of Abraham and Sarah in Paramus New Jersey on Monday, May 16. Entombment was to follow.
Wieslaw Wierzbowski, 74, Of Wallington
WALLINGTON, N.J. -- Wieslaw Wierzbowski, a resident of Wallington, died Friday, May 13. He was 74.Born July 30, 1941, in Wilno, Poland, he was the son of Waclaw and Wiktoria Wierzbowski.
While in Poland, he had been an officer in the Polish merchant marine. He came to the United States in the early 1970s, settled in Wallington in 1980 and last worked as a machinist mechanic for Lea & Perrins in Garfield.
He is survived by his wife, Alina; and his son, Alex, and his wife, Izabela.

POUGHQUAG, N.Y. – Ronald J. Casey, an area resident for the past 40 years, died Friday, May 13. He was 68.
He previously lived in Carmel. Born on April 11,1948, in Danbury, CT, he was the son of the late Harold and Amelia (Taber) Casey.
He served in the US Army, and was stationed in Korea and Vietnam during the Vietnam War. He had owned and operated Capricorn Wholesale Foods in Carmel until 2008. BERGENFIELD, N.J. – Mario Grasso, a resident of Moonachie and formerly of Bergenfield and West New York, died Friday, May 13. He was 68.
He was a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Korean War.
He is survived by his fiancé Maureen Andrews; his children, Dana and Edward Graul, Nicholas and Anna, Michael and Dana, Lisa and the late Dawn; his siblings Frank, Salvatore, Rosemarie Stecz, Danny, Anthony, Frances Giordano and the late Angelo; grandchildren, Sara, Anysabella, Angelina, Michael and Xavier; and many nieces and nephews.

She was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada in 1949, the second of three children.
She was a very successful businesswoman, becoming the assistant treasurer of Canadian Forest Products, then the largest private company in Canada, before marrying Gary Peterson from Closter, in 1983. They were married for 32 years.

HO-HO-KUS, N.J. -- Allen H. Wahlberg, a resident of Ho-Ho-Kus, died Thursday, May 12. He was 83.Born in Stockholm, Sweden, Wahlberg grew up in Manhattan where he attended Brooklyn Technical High School. He went on to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he graduated in 1956. Soon after, Allen served in the United States Army Corps of Engineers from 1957-1959, highlighted by a year in Iran as a Topographical Survey Party Chief.
