Dr. George R. West Jr., 90, Of Englewood ENGLEWOOD, N.J. -- Dr. George R. West Jr., a resident of Englewood, died. He was 90.West graduated from Dwight Morrow High School, where he gained recognition as a member of the Maroon Raiders track team. Following graduation from high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served during World War II. He earned an honorable discharge and enrolled at New York University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1950. He then re-enlisted and served in the Korean War. After that period of service, he applied and was accepted to the Howard University School of Dentistry earning a degree in 1955. …

During this program, the participants will join educators and the animal-husbandry staff during morning feedings.
