Bergenfield Graphic Design Student Brands Logo For Library BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- A student from Bergenfield High School designed the library's new logo. The Bergenfield Public Library teamed up with BHS and Phillip Moliere's graphic design students to come up with ideas for a new logo. After meeting with library staff, students were challenged with the task of coming up with original ideas that reflect the library's ongoing commitment and evolving relationship with the community.  Sophomore Christopher Bruno, who is contemplating a career in graphic arts, ultimately created the winning logo.  The new logo can be seen on the library's homepage.

Reward Offered For Person Who Threw Rock At Clifton Officer CLIFTON, N.J. -- A $2,000 reward was offered for information leading to the arrest of the person who hurled a rock that struck a Clifton police officer in the head. Police who responded to a Highland Avenue dispute were trying to arrest a belligerent man on June 25 when someone from the crowd flung the rock, Clifton Detective Lt. Robert Bracken said.
