Crafts, Antiques Shows Coming To Westwood Veterans Park
WESTWOOD, N.J. -- Crafts and antiques will mingle at a Westwood fair in Veterans Park on Sunday, Aug. 28. The annual Crafts in the Park & Antiques in the Park runs 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and consists of two separate shows in the same location.There will be 80 exhibitors with arts and crafts and 30 antique dealers, all with a diversified selection of items. Renovations Begin At Eastchester Library
EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- Upgrades to the Eastchester Library started Aug. 15 with new carpeting and there will be some minor layout adjustments during the renovation period. While carpeting is being installed there will be limited access to the Main Floor Reading Area. WYCKOFF, N.J. -- James W. O’Brien of Ringwood, formerly of Wyckoff and Rutherford, died on Friday, Aug 12. He was 71. He was a graduate of Rutherford High School and Fairleigh Dickinson University, and also served 16 years in the NJ National Guard’s Military Police. He worked in the insurance industry for over 40 years, before retiring in 2013. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Eleanor, and his three children: Jill Fenton of Bloomingdale, Carrie Ward of Marietta, GA, and Kevin O’Brien of Morristown.
